What do you like about having a business in Spring Valley?
I am fortunate to live in rural Spring Valley and serve Spring Valley residents for their legal needs for the past 13 years. It’s a thriving community full of interesting people doing sophisticated work.

Fun fact about your business?
We’re locally born, raised, and educated. I went to school in Grand Meadow and Hamline University before graduating from Harvard Law. Big city life held no candle to the lure of rural Minnesota. We moved back 13 years ago to raise our five kids. It’s an honor every single day to help rural Minnesotans and farmers with their legal needs.

When were you established?
Cody bought the business in July of 2011 although it has been here since 1979.

What services are offered?
Custom meat processing (Beef, hogs, and sheep), full retail meat sales, and catering. We also sell Green Mountain grills and supplies.

What do you want people to know about your business?
We are a small family owned business. We value our customers and strive to exceed their expectations. We make a lot of the products sold here ourselves including 13 different flavors of brats, 10 flavors of jerky, 20 plus flavors of beef sticks, dried beef, summer sausage and more!

How many employees?
10, including full and part time employees.

What do you like about having a business in Spring Valley?
The people! Many of our customers are “regulars” and it’s always fun to visit with them as well as meeting the new customers that stop in.

Fun fact about your business?
We make our very own Ody’s seasoning blend. We sell it but also use it in many of our catering dishes and for personal use 😊

Spring Valley Chamber welcomed in another new member yesterday and did an official ribbon cutting with EDA, City Counsel and other Chamber business members present. Congratulations Bear Creek Auto and welcome to our community!

Yesterday we welcomed O’ Reilly’s to Spring Valley with an official Chamber ribbon cutting! EDA, City Counsel members and fellow Chamber members attended to help welcome in the staff and business. Thanks to everyone who made this a special event for our newest member!

Having a business in Spring Valley has been amazing these past four years. It’s great being able to work in this community and continue to grow our business here. Watching this community continue to grow and bring more new businesses these past few years really shows that Spring Valley is thriving and will continue to for a long time.
