The Rusty Boot Ribbon Cutting
The Spring Valley Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting and a Spring Valley Business After Hours at The Rusty Boot Saloon in Ostrander Tuesday, March 25. Owners Greg and Suzie Brooks hosted Chamber members, providing an assortment of food and beverages. Door prizes were provided by the Rusty Boot, MinnWest Bank, Valley Lanes and Spring Valley Overhead Door.

What services are offered?
WDI is a private, nonprofit agency that connects people with the resources they need to gain meaningful employment.
For individuals, our services include assessment, career planning, skills training, job search guidance and resources, and preparation for further training and education. We also offer scholarships and connections to many other great programs and resources in Southeast Minnesota. We work with every population in the region from youth to adults to dislocated workers and employers. Focus is dedicated to working with communities and individuals who face multiple barriers to meaningful and living-wage employment.
For businesses, WDI can provide recruitment assistance, local labor market information, best practices, tips for retention, staff training, and much more. We can also help employers manage the transition for dislocated employees and create opportunities for workers with disabilities across Southeast Minnesota.
